From whom the whole body fitly joined together, and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love (Ephesians 4:16).When Jesus lived on earth, He received the anointing of the Holy Spirit without measure (read John 3:34). At that time, Jesus was the only Man anointed with all kinds of the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Christ is not Jesus' family name. Christ (Christos in Greek) tells who Jesus is and it means the Anointed One and His Anointing. After Jesus ascended to heaven, God the Father made Him Head over His people, His Body (read Ephesians 1:22-23; Ephesians 5:29-30). We, believers, are members of the Body of Christ - members of the Body of the Anointed One and His Anointing. That makes the Body of Christ, as a WHOLE, receives the anointing of the Holy Spirit without measure. Awesome!!! You and I are members of the Body of Christ, with our own roles to play in the Body. When we join together then the anointing that we receive personally, when we are baptized in the Spirit with the sign of speaking in tongue, will grow. We Need Each OtherLet's take another look at our main scripture. From whom the whole body fitly joined together, and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love (Ephesians 4:16). The New Living Translation of Ephesians 4:16 says, Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love. The same thing is also expressed in the following scripture: For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members of oen of another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us... (Romans 12:4-6). Verse 5 of Romans 12 in the New Living Translation as follows: ...We are all parts of his one body, and each of us has different work to do. And since we are all one body in Christ, we belong to each other, and each of us needs all the others. Now it becomes clear to us that no one is that strong and too anointed to not in need for partners in executing the vision that God has given him. Even Jesus had partners while He ministered on earth, i.e. His disciples and followers (Luke 8:1-3). The Philippians became partners to Apostle Paul (read Philippians 4:10-20). One thing to remember is that when the Holy Spirit tells us, through our spirit, to become partner to a certain ministry, then God will work mightily in our life through that ministry. And if we obey Him and become partner to the ministry, there lies our spiritual growth, answers to our problems, and breakthroughs in the areas of family, finances, work, even our own ministry. Impact of PartnershipApostle Paul wrote about partnership in his letter to the congregation in Philippi. Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound; every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me. Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction. Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account (Philippians 4:11-17). In the above verses, we see that Apostle Paul established partnership with the church in the Philippi. The church served and supported Paul with their giving. When they gave to Paul's ministry, we see how it benefited both parties. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God (Philippians 4:18). Here Paul said that he wasn't in lack and even in abundance thanks to the giving of his partners. Then he said the benefit of his partners' giving, But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). What is said here is that when we become partners to a ministry, God is ready to fulfill all our needs as a result of the seed that we sow into the partnership. Unfortunately, a lot of people think verse 19 is automatically for them. In other words God says that He is able to fulfill our needs according to His riches in glory because we have fulfilled the need of other people. So, if you are partner to a ministry you are entitled to verse 19 and you can say: In the name of Jesus, since I am partner with this ministry, my Lord will meet my needs according to His riches by Glory in Christ Jesus because I have fulfilled the need of my ministry partner. Praise the Lord! Amen. Appropriate GivingMany people think that becoming partner to a ministry means that they have to sow a specific amount of money and if it's less then they'd rather not give then being embarrassed. Friends, that opinion is a lie of the devil. Do you still remember how Jesus one day watched the offering box in synagogue when a poor widow gave two mites? At that time Jesus told His disciples that the widow's offering was bigger than what other gave (read Mark 12: 41-44). If you study about offering, then you may find out that Jesus never determined a certain amount to be appropriate to give as offering. If Jesus was concerned about the offering amount then I am positive that Jesus wouldn't have said what He said about that widow's offering. Consequently, concerning financial support to a ministry, there's no minimum amount to give. And if you give, it means you activate your heavenly account. The Word of God says, Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account (Philippians 4:17). The financial seed that we sow into our partner ministry will produce benefits for us. This is also true according Luke 6:38 that says, Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Role of PartnersPartnership needs the two involving-parties to do their own jobs and responsibilities in order for the relationship be beneficial for them all. As partners to this ministry, we commit ourselves to:
We need our partners to commit to:
Prayers of Agreement and FaithThe Word of God says when two people agree in touching anything on earth then it shall come to pass (Matthew 18:19), therefore we would like you to have the same verses as the ones we pray over you every day so that you will know and may agree with us in faith for those things. The verses that we use to pray over you are as follow:
